“I’m sure he didn’t mean to grab Ariana Grande’s breast, they need to lay off him.”
– radio host commenting on video of Aretha Franklin’s Funeral Services
This is the shit that gets us in trouble. Our obsession with being over sexed has led to the bust of NYCHA employees screwing and drinking all day instead of doing their jobs to maintain the living conditions for housing authority residents. As we know, a large population of people of color live in the housing projects in New York City. Mainly black people. Moreover, a large amount of those people that work for NYCHA also live in a NYCHA building. Recently, photos have surfaced of have cracked walls with peeling paint, rusty faucets accompanying bathrooms in bad need of upgrades. This is the case of the very people who are being marginalized are the ones oppressing their people. Sex has become more important than the well-being of our citizens. Let me begin with the bullshit I heard as I wrote this article.
The male who said the quote you see at the top explicitly said he was watching Ms. Franklin’s funeral. I didn’t, but I saw the video of the bishop and Ariana. The bishop groped her in front of thousands of viewers, and no one had anything to say about it because he is a clergyman. He passed it off as grabbing her shoulder. There is a difference between a breast and a shoulder in relation to everything about the two body parts. Ariana was clearly uncomfortable. She has not yet responded. Ms. Franklin would not approve of such disrespect. No wonder why we have the Vatican’s assistant throwing orgy parties in his off time. Possibly he knows something we don’t. Perhaps they know the best way to hide a heavy drug addiction, and your true sexuality is by using a title in the church. That’ll make you invincible. At least, these men were of age. The bishop got away with murder this past week, but furthermore, most of us told him he could do whatever he wants because people barely talking about spoke about his behavior. Good luck sending your adolescent impressionable daughters to his church. America didn’t protect the young lady Ariana, but we don’t protect any of our young people, hence, the Catholic priests abusing children, the current sex trafficking issue we have in America and last not least, the scary normalization of child abuse in their own families. No one should be complaining or asking why most kids are pissed at docile and desperate adults. Don’t forget there is a border full of traumatized children left over from this summer mainly because of a chance their parents were willing to take. So far, we have saved a minuscule percentage out of thousands. Way to go for America, this is inexcusable.
No protection from sexual coercion, sexual harassment is a normal thing in America. Ask the black slave women who bore everyone’s children, including their husbands, the master’s and whoever else he said. Furthermore, add in the experiences of most women that don’t talk about the changes they have endured throughout their lives. Therefore, they can’t help younger women who have been violated the same ways. The offender mentality has spilled into our school system, where children learn to abuse each other based off looks, implied sexuality and class participation. Of course, we know they learn it from their environments, because children don’t come up with this type of behavior themselves. We now have cases as young as 9 and 11 years old when it comes to suicide. These numbers are domestic and abroad. The 11-year-old is from the UK. He loved to read and loved learning. Now he’s dead because of bullying. These same kids who bullied him will grow to be the adults who will be the ones working for a job harassing other workers. God forbid they find a colleague they think is attractive that doesn’t want to entertain the unwanted attention of such an abuser. The reality is they will be sexually harassed and coerced. Most of all, they will be the ones to lose their job while the harassers get promotions, that is, until they get busted and are ousted by the media, like what has happened with NYTCHA. The nine-year-old was bullied for being gay. We live in a time that homosexual rights are a growing cause and have gained victories in most states honoring the union of same-sex couples. It is not ok to use a derogatory term against the group; trans gender, persons are given consideration in most areas, and it is also growing. I pose the question, how accepting is the dominant society if they still shame people for being who they are?
Another case with children was a Texas teacher who had an orgy with five teenage athletes from her high school. She was sentenced to five years in prison. There’s more. Years before the Texas teacher came along; Florida is on the map for job-related orgy’s such as NYTCHA. This time it was at a prison. It took a new warden with a military background to clean out corrupt correction’s officers who often bullied each other, made the female officers their “chattel” according to the reporter and abused other employees who threatened to reveal their illegal activity. Do you see the pattern? We are bred to learn this behavior and take this mentality into the workplace, but let’s be clear, any place. No wonder why most heart attacks happen on the job. The job atmosphere is literally comparable to a prison or plantation. You must pick a clique, or you’re going to be with or be prepared to be fresh meat for the taking. Better yet, give up agency of your body and keep your slave chores in the big house while being raped is a part of your daily duties.
Fast food is not even free from this disease. McDonalds workers have dealt with similar issues like the Florida prison. They uniquely spoke up regardless of the outcome. Most of these cases became known only through the utilization of the media of the acts taking place or the casualties of those acts being publicized. We must hold each other accountable for the wrong we do and forget about individual gain of not doing so, because there is no personal gain with letting a criminal loose on a population commissioned to them. Pretty soon you will be a part of that same population of the victimized. A true criminal mind has no boundaries. The only currency it knows is the accumulation of prey. Ask yourselves, how many jobs have you heard such a hunt for victims go on. How many people have lost their jobs or positions in any social setting because they went against the request or challenged a predator? This is how people are coerced into doing things they don’t want. They have the responsibility of insuring their family’s safety and care. The threat of losing income to do the above is a major tool to control the actions of victims.
Men are not exempt from this behavior. I was disheartened by the response of a good amount of people who have commented on men going through such situations. As a result, we have men such as Terry Crews courageously taking about his experience with sexual predators, and you have male and females responding to him as if he was wrong to show a huge amount of restraint to maintain his freedom and had the foresight to wait until he was well known to talk about this issue, collectively, we have an issue with letting ourselves live in society we are constantly being violated and attacked and not removing ourselves to a more peaceful setting immediately. We are saying #Do What You Want To. Shout-out to Ariana Grande, Terry Crews, the McDonald’s employees, people of NYCHA who have fallen prey to this indecency, our children who have been exploited by our lack of support and all who could not fit on this page. We will get this right one way or the other. Let us start with not confirming Kavanaugh because we need as many laws as we can to help citizens maintain rights over their bodies. Stand up.

“The god who created the earth; who created the sun that gives us
light. The god who holds up the ocean; who makes the thunder roar. Our God who
has ears to hear. You who are hidden in the clouds; who watch us from where you
are. You see all that the white has made us suffer. The white man’s god asks
him to commit crimes. But the god within us wants to do good. Our god, who is
so good, so just, He orders us to revenge our wrongs. It’s He who will direct
our arms and bring us the victory. It’s He who will assist us. We all should
throw away the image of the white men’s god who is so pitiless. Listen to the
voice for liberty that speaks in all our hearts.“
