The HuriKane Report writers where attacked this morning by a “conscious” character who seemly makes anonymous comments filled with venom and leave no suggestions to resolve the issues of black people anywhere.

We re-posted a link to a video (still on twitter) that seems to be from a country in Africa where people were asking is there something wrong with the content which is a young girl child is twerking on a boy around her age and kissing him as someone else is holding the camera catching all their engagement while they laugh and smile. These were black children. As mentioned on our twitter and other social media, there needs to be an alert put out to these children’s parents. Who taught them this shit? How is it they have the time to do this? Who was holding the camera? Why aren’t the parent s talking to their kids about the danger of recording themselves and uploading it to the internet where nothing goes away? If none of the questions are answered reasonably, the parents deserve to be investigated for child endangerment. Their caretakers and those children have put themselves at risk for so many negatives. As for the people that posted it, they didn’t make sure they disguised these children’s faces. The conversation includes someone saying they did worse when they were their age, but the difference is the world will not see that. They have their dignity. Luckily, about half of the responders to this media thought something needed to be done. This will be something that sticks with them for the rest of their lives if there is no way to remove it.
Texas just had a law passed this September 1st, that prohibits any media that contains any “sexual lewdness”. The language is broad and twerking can fall under this category, along with a fully clothed photo of an appealing woman with a voluptuous figure, an inviting man who may be wearing soft trousers that could possibly show an outline of his pelvic area or even a photo with his shirt off. See below.
Dr. Kyra Guant, an anthropologist, made a study of the effects of twerk videos from the United states on young black girls from around the ages of 6 and up on YouTube. She confirmed that companies use this footage to deny college, work opportunities, and more to these girls when they become women. When institutions do background checks, these things are liable to come up because big data brokers hoard most information about all online activity. The more upsetting fact about this is that more grown men have been known to follow the YouTube accounts of these children usually without the knowledge of their parents that any of this is taking place. The likes, views, messages, and subscriptions are alarming.

The mere act of commenting and sharing the previously mentioned link, The Hurikane Report was accused by a troll that we were distributing underage pornography and disguising it as an alert to the community. Let’s be clear, nothing that The HuriKane Report produces or participates in will ever commit crimes against anyone. Our goal is to protect the black community as best as we can. It is also our responsibility to guard ourselves against trolls who project their demons on to us. We do not tolerate that type of behavior.
The next point to be made, is when the first R. Kelly tape was revealed and released to the public, there was not a single grown person at that time that didn’t see the recording. Our boss and some of our staff still haven’t seen it and it’s been 10 plus years. There are people that claim that they are against any type of abuse of a child, self-inflicted or not and have that DVD in their homes until this day. Most of us didn’t hear anyone say anything about underage porn then, as it was being redistributed by “conscious” bootleggers in most major cities at that time before social media was the prevalent way of communication. This practice still happens today with many respectable black movie projects.

Note: This is one of the few moments that fiction matched non-fiction perfectly. There is a lot more actual footage of evidence at your fingertips if you research the topic.

We must watch when trolls come on to social media making accusations because nine times out of ten, they are white supremacists themselves. They may not be white, but they have the same ideology of a person who identifies as such. Just because we may make forums or groups designated for black people, doesn’t mean that others won’t infiltrate it to throw off the conversation to cause chaos or confusion. We must examine ourselves and make sure we clean our environments of anyone with ulterior motives to destroy black culture anywhere on the planet. We must be on code and stay on code.

“The god who created the earth; who created the sun that gives us
light. The god who holds up the ocean; who makes the thunder roar. Our God who
has ears to hear. You who are hidden in the clouds; who watch us from where you
are. You see all that the white has made us suffer. The white man’s god asks
him to commit crimes. But the god within us wants to do good. Our god, who is
so good, so just, He orders us to revenge our wrongs. It’s He who will direct
our arms and bring us the victory. It’s He who will assist us. We all should
throw away the image of the white men’s god who is so pitiless. Listen to the
voice for liberty that speaks in all our hearts.“
